PureVPN Speed Review - Rigorous Testing of Trial Plan
Reveals Surprising Results
Virtual private networks are primarily used for security purposes. You set up a VPN on your device, it establishes a secure encrypted connection, and you use the internet without the fear of hackers eavesdropping on your private activities.
However, there’s an entirely separate faction of internet users that adore a VPN for its IP-shifting ability as it allows them to access blocked URLs or stream flicks that are not available in their region. To this specific group of audience, speeds means a lot.
But I can’t test a VPN’s speeds unless I buy its plan at a hefty cost. Right? If it sounds like you, then you are in luck. PureVPN has rolled out its trial plan that you can check out to experience PureVPN’s amazing performance and speeds without spending more than a dollar.
PureVPN Speed Review – Testing on Trial Plan
I tested PureVPN’s speed before writing this review of PureVPN’s trial. I was really blown away by the amazing downloading and uploading speeds delivered by the VPN.
I first tested out the Windows application which was quite easy to install and configure. I use a maximum bandwidth of 15mbps connection at my home. To my surprise, I was getting around 14mbps of speeds while connected to PureVPN.
Although I did experience some speed issues on some servers such as the United States server, when I switched to other servers in the UK and Germany, my internet speed immediately shot up to again 13mbps to 14mbps.
After running the speed tests on the Ookla speed test tool, I put the VPN into action and launched Netflix. I read that PureVPN supports up to seven regions. Therefore, I tested each Netflix regional library back to back.
Out of the seven, I found six of the Netflix regional libraries, specifically in the US, were running flawlessly. In fact, I was able to stream UHD flicks without any buffering at all.
To ensure that PureVPN speed doesn’t deter on different apps, I tried testing out the speeds on Android and iOS as well. Unsurprisingly, I found little to no difference in PureVPN speeds at all.
My Verdict
My recommendation is as clear as the day that PureVPN actually delivers top speeds and it also allows buffering-free streaming. The most amazing part of the test was that I could watch Netflix, download torrents, and browse without any bandwidth limits for only $0.99.
Of course, I have bought the annual plan because I really love PureVPN speeds and its unblocking feature that allows
streaming on dozens of popular streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu US, Sky Go, ESPN+, Sony Crackle, Hotstar, and more.
Although the trial plan is really cheap, PureVPN gives money-back assurance even on this meager amount. That’s really something.
I have found PureVPN to be an amazing service. Share your experience of using PureVPN by commenting below.
